The next morning, I was hurting. And John was laughing at me. Apparently, I couldn't handle five-star living as well as I had indicated. "This is the sort of thing that you have to prepare for," he said laughingly. "This five-star living is really hard; you can't just jump into it!" "Uh huh," I muttered. "You just wait and see if you can handle that five-star massage today." John had never had a full massage before; I had, earlier that year, at the Camelback Inn. John had given me a half-day spa package for Christmas last year, which included a Swedish massage, a manicure, and a pedicure. It was a nice taste of five-star living. Our appointment was for 10:00 a.m., so right after breakfast, John and I walked over to the spa to check in. We were immediately ushered to the changing rooms - John to the men's, and me to the women's - to receive our tour of the spa's amenities. We were also assigned a locker, inside of which were a bathrobe and slippers for our use. We changed into these then took a seat in the waiting room, to wait for our masseuse. At 10:00 a.m. precise, we were led into the massage chamber; and for the next hour, we enjoyed a wonderful, relaxing massage. Every little bit of tension was completely erased by those magic hands. We felt so relaxed afterwards that it was difficult to stand up, because we had Bambi-legs! Following our massage, we decided to stick around and take full advantage of the amenities that the spa had to offer. We changed into our swimsuits and went outside to go soak in the jacuzzi; we also took a casual swim in the pool...although we became distracted by the little green frogs that were clinging to the side of the pool! A little later, we emerged from the pool and sat back the comfortable lounge chairs, where we soon fell asleep! I'm not sure how long we slept, but after the massage, the swim, and the nap, we felt completely renewed and refreshed. Although we could have spent the whole day at the spa, two and a half hours were enough for us. So, we changed into our street clothes and returned to our room to figure out what to do next. We decided to take another walk - a shorter walk this time, to find at least one more geocache before we had to fly home. (We had only found three caches in three days!) There was still one cache left to look for within walking distance, located at a city park on the southern end of the island. It would be a three-mile walk roundtrip; and after that massage, we were definitely up to it. As we left the resort, we walked south on Collier Boulevard, towards the southern tip of the island. En route, we stopped for lunch at an Irish pub nearby, where we enjoyed a typical Irish fare along with a pint of Harp. After lunch, we continued on our trek, walking now at a brisk pace to work off our lunch! Near the southern tip of the island, Collier Boulevard curved to the east, then turned north again and became Collier Court. Along this stretch of our trek, we encountered several green leaping lizards, skittering across the sidewalk. They emerged from the nearby bushes and seemed to be doing push-ups; but when they sensed our approached, they leapt back into the brush as quick as a flash! They were fun to watch, but they were certainly odd. We soon approached the park where the cache was hidden; it was a pretty little city park, with lots of trees just inside the main gate. That was where we found the cache after a short search, making that our fourth and last Florida find (for now...). To return to the resort, we took a shortcut along Swallow Avenue to get back to Collier Boulevard. Along the way, we stopped at a couple of souvenir shops to buy gifts for Mary and for the rest of the family, for watching her while we were gone. We bought everyone T-shirts; we also bought T-shirts at one of the stores at the Marriott, as they had a great collection of Life is Good apparel (my favorite). After our walk, we returned to our room, where we rested from our walk; we also began packing, because we were flying home the next day. Later, we emerged from our room to have dinner at Quinn's on the Beach; soon thereafter, we were back in our room again, to call it an early evening...
