Directions to Trailhead: From junction of US 60 and SR 79 go E 2 miles to Queen Valley Road. Go N to FR 357 and then N on 357 to FR 172. Follow FR 172 to its end (9 miles). Trail Description: From trailhead climb ridge 0.4 miles to Woodbury Windmill. Trail (JF Trail #106) goes left of the windmill downstream and crosses Randolph Canyon Wash. From here it climbs to Tortilla Pass (4000 feet, 3.3 miles). This is a long steady climb. From Tortilla pass take Rogers Canyon Trail (#110) down to Angel Basin (nice camping area) and the junction with Frog Tanks Trail (#112). Continue on Rogers Canyon approx 1/2 mile to the ruins. The ruins are on a ledge on the northeast side of Roger's Canyon. Return the way you came. |
